We Demand Justice

Speak Out for Lebanon!

Write to demand immediate action in response to the atrocities committed by Israeli forces against Lebanon in recent days. On September 17th and 18th, Israel launched a series of terror attacks, killing at least 37 civilians, including children, and injuring thousands more. Since then, indiscriminate bombings have escalated, resulting in the deaths of over 400 people in what is now the deadliest period for Lebanon in over two decades.

These bombings are part of a broader pattern of Israeli occupation and aggression, following its expansion of genocidal operations against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank earlier this month. What is most alarming is that these war crimes are being carried out with verbal support from the administration and the backing of U.S. military funding, which provides Israel with the resources to act with complete impunity.

The continued failure of the United States government to speak out and take action is not only emboldening Israel but is also making a mockery of international law. Each day that passes without intervention signals to Israel and the rest of the world that these crimes can go unpunished.

We must be clear. Billions in taxpayer-funded weapons are funding and enabling these war crimes. This complicity must end. Call on your representatives to take urgent action by:

  • Demanding an immediate ceasefire and an end to U.S. military aid to Israel until it halts its attacks on civilians and complies with international law.

  • Introducing and supporting legislation for an arms embargo against Israel to prevent further harm to innocent people in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank.

  • Calling for accountability for Israel’s war crimes by pushing for an independent international investigation into the attacks on Lebanon and the ongoing occupation of Palestine.

The people of Lebanon and Palestine deserve justice and a right to live with diginity, and it is the duty of the United States to stop supporting these acts of violence. The bloodshed must end now. We must demand concrete steps to ensure that the U.S. government is no longer complicit in these atrocities.
